Steeped in tribal history and used in fierce competition, the Taiaha spear used in close combat is more than an implement of warfare to Maori: it’s taonga (treasure) handed down through the generations. Honouring this traditional craft, Shot commissioned master carver Whare Thompson to design tis impressive Taiaha’s sleeve, finely laser etched into the barrel. This Warrior never slips with three distinct grip zones along the dart length and a bull nose that minimises deflections. Take up the challenge!
